Know exactly what
to feed this week.
Our classic Reefertilizer schedule. Amounts are per 4 litres (about 1 US gallon) of water — one scoop equals one teaspoon, about 5 mL.
Seed to harvest, week by week.
Feeding about once a week in soil. A typical 5-gallon pot needs about 4 L of solution to fully saturate the roots.
Scroll sideways on small screens. Values are approximate — round to the nearest half scoop. PPM depends on your source water.
A few rules of thumb.
Start low with young plants
1 scoop of Grow in 4 L for the first week. Increase to 2–3 scoops as the plant gets bigger.
Check pH every feed
Aim for 6.0–6.8 in soil and 5.5–6.0 in hydro. Reefertilizer moves pH slightly depending on your water.
Dissolve first
Mix the powder into a few ounces of warm water, then add it to the rest of your water.
Flush before harvest
In the final weeks, leach the soil with plain water or ½ scoop of Bloom per 4 L to improve taste.
Less water? Scale it
One plant usually needs about 1 L per feed — use a quarter of the amounts above.
Watch your plants
Small plants need less than large ones. Adapt the dose to what your plants are telling you.
Enough for six to eight plants.
One kit of Start, Grow and Bloom covers a full grow of six to eight plants from seed to harvest.
