Using Reefertilizer
Feeding, mediums and how far a bag goes.
Start, Grow and Bloom cover the whole cycle. Start goes into the soil, Grow feeds the vegetative stage and Bloom feeds flowering — together they are the complete system. They can be combined with other fertilizers, but test on a few plants first.
Begin low: 1 scoop of Grow in 4 L of water for the first week, increasing to 2–3 scoops as the plant grows. In flower, use 1–2 scoops of Bloom per 4 L. See the feeding chart for the full week-by-week schedule.
A kit of Start, Grow and Bloom is enough for about six to eight plants from seed to harvest. Stored dry and sealed, the powders keep for years.
Start is organic — kelp meal and mycorrhizal spores. Grow and Bloom are synthetic, chelated fertilizers that dissolve fully in water and make nutrients available to the plant immediately.
Yes. All three work indoors and outdoors. Grow and Bloom also work in hydroponic, aeroponic and DWC systems — add them straight to the reservoir. Start is a soil amendment and is not meant for hydro.
Depending on your water, Reefertilizer can move pH slightly. Test at every feeding and keep it between 6.0 and 6.8 for soil, or 5.5 and 6.0 for hydro.
Both need mixing with water. Dissolve the powder in a few ounces of warm water first, then add the rest. Powder is more concentrated, so a little goes a long way — measure carefully and flush before harvest. Keep the pouch sealed so it stays dry.
About two to four weeks before harvest, leach the soil with plain water or ½ scoop of Bloom or Grow per 4 L. This clears excess nutrients and improves taste.

Yes. Everything ships in plain brown boxes with no branding on the outside.
Delays can be caused by things outside our control. Reach out with your order number and we will track it down. In extreme cases we can refund shipping costs when an order doesn’t arrive in a reasonable time.

Returns & refunds
Our Happy Plant Guarantee.
If you and your plants aren’t happy, contact us. We refund orders in full within 60 days of the order date. Unused product must be returned before the refund is approved. Complete grow tent kits cannot be returned or exchanged.
Contact us, then send the unused product to the address on the original shipping label. There is no restocking fee; return shipping is paid by the customer.
Sorry about that! Send us a photo of the damaged or defective product and we will send a replacement or refund once approved.
Check your bank account again, then contact your card company and bank — refunds can take some time to post. If it still hasn’t arrived, contact us.
